Trace the journey of African Americans in Annapolis and explore their impact both nationally and internationally.  Begin your day with a 2-hour walking tour through the streets of Annapolis.  Stop at the Alex Haley statue, marking the significance of his famous book, Roots.  Work your way up the hill to the State House to see Thurgood Marshall statue and the significance of being the first African American Supreme Court Justice.  The day will include a stop at the Blackwall Hitch Restaurant for a delicious lunch from one of the most popular restaurants in the city.
